Entity: OperaHouse Ventures ("OperaHouse Ventures," "we," "us"), a sole proprietorship of Alistair Farr operating under the trade name "OperaHouse Ventures," with Delaware limited liability company formation in progress.
Site: ohventures.cc (the "Site")
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information ohventures.cc collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies only to the ohventures.cc marketing site โ not to our products (see Section 3).
2. Site Scope
The Site is a single-page marketing site describing OperaHouse Ventures, our team, and our portfolio. It has no user accounts, no login, and no payment processing on the Site itself.
3. What This Policy Does Not Cover
Our products โ NarrativAI, OperaHouse (hospitality CRM), and CullAI โ are governed by their own privacy policies, published inside each product. Data you provide while using a product is handled under that product's policy, not this one.
4. Information We Collect
- "Get in touch" links. The Site's "Get in touch" section provides
mailto:links for investor/partnership, product/support, and careers inquiries. These open your own email client โ we don't collect or process anything through the Site itself until you choose to send that email directly to us. - Waitlist signups. When you submit the waitlist form, we collect your name, email address, which product you're interested in (NarrativAI, OperaHouse, CullAI, or General), and any optional message you include. This data is used to send you updates about the product(s) you selected.
- Server-side request data. Like every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) and our DNS/proxy provider (Cloudflare) each log standard request data โ IP address, user agent, referrer, request path, and timestamps โ for a limited period, for security and abuse prevention.
- Product analytics. We use PostHog to understand how visitors move through the Site (page views, referrers, aggregated behavior, and session replay of on-Site interactions). See Section 6.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 7.
We do not collect government identifiers, payment information, or health data through the Site. Please do not include those categories of information in the waitlist form or in a message you send us directly.
5. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to you. When you write to us via a "Get in touch" link, our team reviews your message and routes it internally to the right person.
- To send the emails you asked for. Waitlist signups receive updates about the product(s) you selected. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message, or by emailing [email protected].
- To operate and secure the Site. Cloudflare logs and rate limits protect the Site against abuse, denial-of-service traffic, and automated form submissions.
- To improve the Site. PostHog analytics inform what content is working and where visitors get stuck.
- To evaluate candidates. Careers inquiries sent via the "Get in touch" careers link are retained for candidate evaluation and future opportunities. If you'd rather we delete your submission after review, tell us and we will.
- To comply with law. We may retain or disclose limited information as required to meet a legal obligation, respond to lawful process, or protect our rights.
6. Analytics โ PostHog
We use PostHog for site analytics. Depending on your visit, PostHog may capture: pages viewed, referring source, approximate location derived from IP (city-level), device and browser type, session recordings of your on-Site interactions (with all form-field inputs masked by default), and internal event identifiers.
- We do not use PostHog to build cross-site advertising profiles.
- We do not sell or share PostHog data with advertisers or data brokers.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we honor a stated preference to opt out of session replay where technically feasible.
7. Cookies & Similar Technologies
The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Strictly necessary โ set by Cloudflare (our DNS/proxy provider) and Vercel (our host) for security, rate limiting, and bot detection. These are required for the Site to function.
- Analytics โ set by PostHog to distinguish anonymous visitors and support the measurements described in Section 6.
We do not set advertising cookies. Where applicable law requires a consent choice for non-essential cookies, we present that choice on your first visit.
8. Sub-processors & Third-Party Services
We share limited data with the following service providers solely to operate the Site:
- Vercel โ hosting, application infrastructure, and the serverless function that processes waitlist submissions.
- Cloudflare โ DNS, reverse proxy, DDoS/WAF protection, and edge logs.
- PostHog โ product analytics and session replay (as described in Section 6).
- Resend โ outbound transactional email (waitlist confirmations).
- GitHub โ Site source hosting; not user-facing.
- Notion โ knowledge-base and dev-log content referenced on the Site; not user-facing.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes.
9. Data Retention
- Messages sent via "Get in touch" links: handled per the retention practices of the email inbox they land in โ up to 24 months from receipt, or longer if a business or legal need requires (e.g., an active support thread, a legal claim).
- Careers inquiries: up to 24 months to consider you for future opportunities, unless you ask us to delete them earlier.
- Waitlist signups: retained until the product-specific waitlist is retired or you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.
- Cloudflare edge logs: retained per Cloudflare's standard retention (short โ typically days, not months).
- PostHog analytics: retained per our PostHog project retention setting, and pruned when no longer useful.

Regardless of where you live, you can email [email protected] to:
